About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Systems Manager to lead the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of our critical financial systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of our financial processes as we continue to grow. You will be responsible for developing and executing a long-term systems roadmap, while also providing hands-on administration and support for our current suite of financial applications, including NetSuite, Coupa, and Stripe. Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive financial systems roadmap aligned with the company's strategic objectives. This includes researching, evaluating, and recommending new technologies to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Systems Administration: Oversee the day-to-day administration of key financial systems, including NetSuite, Coupa, and Stripe. This includes user management, security configuration, data integrity, report writing and system maintenance.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage financial systems implementation projects, upgrades, and integrations. This includes defining project scope, managing timelines and budgets, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and automate financial processes through system optimization and automation. Develop and implement best practices for financial systems usage.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors for all financial systems, including contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on financial systems functionality and best practices. Develop training materials and conduct training sessions.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies related to financial systems security and data privacy.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with finance, IT, and other departments to ensure seamless integration and support of financial systems.

 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (6+ years preferred) in managing and administering financial systems, specifically NetSuite, Coupa, Avalara and Stripe.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
  • Experience in project management, including planning, execution, and budget management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with system integrations and data migrations is a plus.
  • NetSuite certifications are a plus.
