<h1><span><b><b><b>Job Description Summary</b></b></b></span></h1>As Global GSI PMO leader, you are responsible to design project management governance, implement and maintain powerful project management processes &amp; tools, while animating and developing the project management community. The mission shall result in contributing to customer satisfaction, on time deliveries, world-class project execution, profitability &amp; optimized cash flow for the company. As part of this role, you should support the Project Management teams across GSI but also challenge constructively the project team to deliver on GSI objectives. As such, by delegation of the GSI BL Leader and the GSI Global Operation Leader, you will lead the GSI level project reviews.<br/><br/>As Global GSI Risk Leader, you are responsible to implement project risk and opportunities processes and tools at both ITO &amp; OTR phases, to assure the project risks are managed and accurately reported throughout the project life cycle in compliance with GE Vernova-GS Risk Policy.<br/><br/>The role reports to the GSI Chief Operating Officer (COO) &amp; responsible for PMO &amp; OTR Risk Leadership at Global Business Line level.<p></p><p></p><p></p><h1><span><b>Job Description</b></span></h1><p><b>Roles and Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Lead the definition and implementation of the global GSI project management governance</li><li>Collaborate with Regions and PDGs to drive operational excellence via project performance reviews, and ensure appropriate mitigation of key project risks – also support the definitions &amp; implementation of project execution improvement opportunities and internal benchmarks</li><li>Drive close collaboration with ITO, Operations, and Services teams globally to ensure full wing-to-wing business process definition &amp; roll-out</li><li>Lead and build standard work around definition, roll-out and compliance of global GSI standard project management tools &amp; practices – across the regions, PDGs and HQ - and improve the forecasting of projects costs and Projects financials with a strong interconnectivity across all regions and functions.</li><li>Drive non-negotiable EHS, quality and compliance culture in project management practices across the entire business</li><li>Support the S&amp;OP, Demand/Supply balance with resources forecasting, management, and improved utilization &amp; efficiency </li><li>Lead overall Project Management Operating Rhythm (Project reviews, PM Month, etc.); Supports PMLP program across GEV</li><li>Regions PMO leaders will report to this role in dotted line</li><li>Can substitute COO in critical internal business meetings and decisions</li><li>Will be measured on – roll-out &amp; standardization of global processes; performances in risk mitigation &amp; financial outcome (EBITDA); partnership and influence from ITO to construction with regions/PDGs/other functions</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Required Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering, or equivalent knowledge/experience</li><li>Extensive work experience (equivalent to 15 years) in EPC Turnkey projects environment, preferably HVDC, FACTS, High Voltage Substation Projects and in Large Project PD roles </li><li>Strong ability to work across global teams (regions / central / PDGs), and managing directly and/or functionally large teams, with capacity to influence without hierarchical links</li><li>Work experience in an international environment</li><li>High level expertise in project management, risk &amp; opportunity management</li><li>“Digital” acumen</li><li>Experience or capacity in managing and structuring huge flows of information</li><li>Capacity to make decisions (for instance, the position holder shall approve margin variations at Head Quarter level as per the defined delegation of authority)</li><li>Capacity to recognize the need of change when required and to generate it (for instance, the position holder tailors process update or lead implementation of new tools)</li><li>Clear thinker with an ability to focus on the “critical few” issue/priorities.
