We are seeking a Facilities Technician to join our team in Battle Creek, MI!  

Pasadena Villa Great Lakes is a residential psychiatric facility located in Battle Creek, Michigan. How You Will Contribute:

The Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining and cleaning common areas, around all facilities and grounds.

Essential Responsibilities

1. Manages outside environment including plants, landscaping, building maintenance, and repair.
2. Communicates with appropriate staff if an area is out of use.
3. Performs repair of facility, vehicle, or grounds in a timely manner.
4. Manages the safety and risk reduction of facilities and vehicles through maintaining safety equipment, managing hazardous materials, maintaining, and inspecting fire safety equipment and utilities.
5. Performs repair and maintenance of building, including but not limited to; minor plumbing repairs, maintaining smoke detectors, air conditioning filters, caulking, tile repair, wall repair, touch up paint, and grout.
6. Performs maintenance of grounds keeping in a timely manner, including but not limited to: trimming, planting, watering, weeding, mulching flower beds and rock beds, maintaining ponds and fountains.
7. Maintains walkways, decks, gutters, patios, and exterior lighting.
8. Performs and/or coordinates housekeeping.
9. Manages the safety and risk reduction of facilities and vehicles through maintaining safety equipment, managing hazadrous materials, maintaining, and inspecting fire safety equipment and utilities
10. Ensures safe disposal and storage of all materials in Client areas to limit access by clients.
11. Wears personal protective equipment when using power tools, chemicals or as needed.
