Facilities Specialist

Position Summary 

This role is responsible for performing typical maintenance tasks to support all facilities.

Essential Functions Statement:

• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or grounds as required. 
• Must be able to perform but not limited to the following skills: carpentry, plumbing, masonry, electrical, machine repair, plant layout, painting, and janitorial. 
• Assist with wastewater preparation and discharge. 
• Organize and Maintain Facilities Ticket system in order to schedule/complete work in a timely manner.

Supervisory Responsibility
 This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in an environment that varies from a clerical, office setting using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines to a warehouse setting with various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold to also shop-floor locations, ramp and outdoors with potential adverse weather conditions and high noise levels.

Physical abilities are required. 

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to  4:00 p.m. Hours and work shift may change in accordance with department and business needs. Non-Exempt employees may be required to work over 40 hours per week with approval from department manager.

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma  - 7200 NW 63rd 

Travel

Travel requirements are: 10%

Required Education, Experience and Licenses

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 2 years in facilities maintenance

Computer Skills: Basic Microsoft Office Suite Programs

Certificates and Licenses: Valid Driver’s License

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Must be able to accomplish any and all duties with little or no assistance.

Must have good command of the English language; oral and written.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Employee must be a US citizen.
