Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Facilities Shift Supervisor to join our team in Cincinnati. In this role, you will oversee facility maintenance and housekeeping staff during assigned shifts, ensuring efficient operations and timely resolution of maintenance, repair, and emergency matters.

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of maintenance and housekeeping staff during assigned shift
• Schedule and delegate work assignments effectively to ensure optimal coverage and task completion
• Implement and monitor preventive maintenance procedures and schedules
• Respond to and manage emergency situations including fire, power outages, gas leaks, and water leaks
• Oversee daily cleaning operations and maintenance of all facility areas
• Manage and track work order system to ensure timely completion of maintenance requests
• Monitor building automation systems (BAS) and ensure proper functionality
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality standards and safety protocols
• Coordinate with other shift supervisors to ensure seamless operational continuity
• Provide leadership and guidance to team members while promoting a collaborative work environment

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months experience in facilities maintenance supervision or related field
• Demonstrated knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn facility management software
• Experience with building automation systems (BAS)
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
• Proficiency in using two-way radio communication
• Physical capability to:
• Stand and walk throughout entire shift
• Stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch as needed
• Work in confined spaces when required
• Must be {AGE} of age or older
• Ability to obtain and maintain required licenses and certifications
• Strong emergency response and crisis management capabilities
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of safety protocols and OSHA regulations
