Job Summary:
We are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at our brand-new facility, which is currently under construction. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of the foundational team that gets the building up and running. From assisting with equipment setup and facility readiness to establishing preventative maintenance routines and addressing early-stage operational needs, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the facility’s long-term success. As one of the first team members on site, you'll also help set the tone for the culture and work environment at this new location. Once operational, you’ll be responsible for maintaining building systems, performing repairs, and ensuring the facility operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with janitorial duties to keep facilities clean and organized
• Perform routine maintenance on buildings and grounds
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure safety and efficiency
• Operate and maintain equipment such as lawn mowers, snow plows, forklifts, and hand tools
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations
• Maintain parking lots, including snow and ice removal
• Pick up and deliver mail and products
• Support additional maintenance tasks and special projects as needed

• Consistent Schedule: 1st shift, Monday through Friday (7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., depending on management’s needs) with overtime as needed

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: previous grounds-keeping or related experience at a warehouse or similar facility
• Proficiency with power tools and equipment
• Valid drivers license with insurable driving record
• Travel & Training Requirements: Ability to travel to Wisconsin (requires Real ID or passport) via airplane for training as required - likely during your first week, and again within the first 2 months. All travel will be covered by the company.
