Job Title: Facilities Director
Job Summary:
The Facilities Director will serve as the Primary Relationship Manager to the client. The Director will report to Vice President General Manager, EMCOR Facilities Services. This position will be responsible or achieving/exceeding revenue and profit plan, maintaining and improving morale and retention. In conjunction with the Vice President, General Manager this position will help develop and execute strategic direction and be accountable for implementation of client goals. Ensuring all installed equipment and systems meet all requirements of the contracts and exceed client expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understands and complies with all state and federal regulations. Manages and implements Site Safety Program consistent with EFS master program; Ensuring all subordinates are properly trained and outfitted
- Responsible for ensuring alignment with the client and EMCOR Facilities Services (EFS) Management’s overall objectives and performance measurements; identify best practices and KPIs that will be used to manage and evaluate performance
- Analyze monthly reports to ensure strategic alignment and optimal delivery of service; will regularly meet with the client and EFS management to discuss performance results, operations reviews, etc.
- Responsible for establishing goals and performance criteria and measurement processes to proactively manage the business; responsible for cost effectiveness, consistency, quality, accuracy and performance to business standards
- Responsible for ensuring effective customer satisfaction, service and relations by implementing processes and technology to deliver quality services; responsible for creating a consistent operational image, implementing initiatives and producing a quality product in accordance with the client and EFS standards
- Interfaces with vendors and client in all matters of plant maintenance and repairs, as well as Balance of Campus (BOC) equipment, repairs and test procedures
- Manages the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for planned maintenance, unplanned maintenance and repairs
- Manages the Fuel Management System, including all required testing and reporting
- Manages the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services Title V Operating Permit, and all ancillary aspects, including testing and reporting
- Develops budgets, and long range financial planning with client
- Manages the site personnel, including the hiring, training, discipline, etc.
- Responsible for quality control of all plant and BOC systems and equipment
- Represents EFS onsite
- Must be familiar with, and remain familiar with, all aspects of the company’s safety and environmental policies and practices. Must adopt work practices, which are consistent with the letter and spirit of these policies and participate to the fullest degree in programs aimed at increasing personal safety and environmental awareness
- Perform Administrative duties including Purchase Orders, Invoicing, Payroll, and documentation
Qualifications:

- Must have a detailed understanding of Combined Heat and Power and Central Utility Plants, including startup, operations and maintenance of all installed equipment
- Minimum of seven to ten plus years’ experience at a senior level in the organization managing plant operations with at least $5 - 10 M in revenue
- Must have the ability to identify best practices within industry and proven ability to apply across the account scope
- Strong finance and analytical abilities
- Good computer skills to include excel, power point, word, and PowerBI
- Must be able to lead a team to accomplish common goals and establish best practices
