Technology Specialist I - Network Engineer - Digital and Technology Partners - Onsite, Req#3019065
Network engineer full time on site responsible for LAN/WAN troubleshooting and upgrades.
- Support campus LAN and WAN which consists of Cisco Switches/Routers.
- Perform network software and hardware upgrades
- Work on day to day network request and incident tickets
- Update and create network diagrams using MS Visio
- Be part of the weekly, On Call rotation to provide 24/7 support of critical network systems.
- Respond to network outages and incidents affecting data network equipment at all hospital locations
- Work on projects in the various hospital locations including switch upgrades and assisting senior engineers in major projects.
- Work with WAN carriers to report outages and expedite resolution
- Work on any other related duties as assigned by manager.
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Masters degree preferred.
- Eight years of diverse work experience in IT with a minimum of six years experience in systems analysis and application program development, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Compensation Statement
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for this role is $109,000.00 - $163,695.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
