As Senior Medical Strategist, you will lead the Medical Strategy Team with responsibility for small to mid-size client engagements and support more senior medical strategists on larger engagements. With experience across 3+ therapeutic areas, you will train and supervise junior medical strategists and collaborate with the strategy leads on cross-functional teams, agency initiatives and discrete portions of new business projects. You are a strong collaborator who knows when to take initiative. You are a reliable cross-functional team player who delivers on promises and holds others accountable for theirs. You take responsibility to develop yourself, ensuring that guidance and feedback are both given and received. Your commitment to developing your craft coupled with excellent storytelling and organizational and planning skills, are critical to your success as a Senior Medical Strategist.Key Responsibilities:
- Works with VP/SVP medical strategists to develop and deliver the medical briefing deck for pitches and projects to the team and answer questions
- Supports development of an overarching narrative built on key pillars, supporting message points and required evidence alongside a junior medical strategist and ensures that content is comprehensive, compliant, utilizes the correct medical terminology, and is adequately referenced
- Supports the development of a brand’s core claim library, ensuring correct updating of annotations based on new clinical data and results, compliant with medical, regulatory, and legal feedback
- Surveys the category environment based on abstracts and news releases to identify data/information that may impact the client’s brand/strategy
- Analyzes trials of direct and indirect competitors to identify strengths and weaknesses in comparison to client's brand and assesses facts and figures related to category trends
- Able to identify Top KOLs via desk research across key stakeholder groups for insight mining/research and attends/leads KOL interviews
- Creates first draft of discussion guide in collaboration with other strategists for IDIs, supports development of research stimuli, and provides IDI summary with key take-aways
- Supports development of patient and HCP journeys via primary and secondary research and helps define key medical needs at each milestone as well as functional and emotional experiences across touchpoints
- Under supervision, develops draft agenda for workshops, helps with running order and creation of workshop slides, and pre -reads, supports facilitation and/or takes notes, and helps with writing reports

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $60,000 to $140,000 . Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
