Job Description

Grace is seeking an HR Project & Transformation Manager, Europe to join our HR team! This role reports to the HR Director, Europe located at Worms, Germany.

The Human Resources Project and Transformation Manager Europe will be responsible for the planning, management and implementation of HR projects and initiatives. This individual will drive the standardization, optimization, and digitalization of key HR processes in compliance with relevant company guidelines, policies, and practices. This role will, in collaboration with the HR Director Europe, set-up the future Target Operating Model of the HR team in Europe and will lead the communication and change management of transformation activities. This advertised position is time-limited for 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Independently lead and implement local and regional Human Resource related projects or workstreams.
• Contribute to global projects, which have an impact to the projects and initiatives the HR Project Manager leads.
• Review the current HR service delivery model in Europe, incl. As-Is analysis of HR processes, summarizing process steps & deliverables, roles & responsibilities, frequency, and form of service delivery (e.g., manual vs. digital)
• Develop measures and decision templates to further enhance HR service delivery in the areas of personnel administration, as well as shared and interlinked processes with payroll, benefits administration, HR business partnering, compensation and talent management.
• Develop to-be process maps, including process changes (e.g., harmonization, simplification, or digitalization) or potential relocation of activities (e.g., to the shared service center or to external service providers).
• Drive and implement process excellence in Human Resources based on latest market standards and implement digital solutions to increase efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure stakeholder management, and project plan fulfilment.
• Report project status to direct supervisor and HR Leadership Team.
• Steer the knowledge transfer activities between HR team members and/or external service providers.
• Set-up and implement the communication concept and change management plan. 

Required Qualifications

•    Master's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent in International Administration or Human Resource Management 
•    Min. 5 years of work experience in in-house Human Resources departments or Consultancy Companies (projects in the area of Human Resources) in manufacturing environment 
•    Expert knowledge in HR processes in HR administration in a state-of-the-art HR IT and shared service center structures 
•    Experience in HR process mapping and HR project leadership, incl. the ability to successfully manage multiple projects from conception to completion.
•    Proficiency with HR systems and processes. 
•    Ability to work and implement measures independently in a complex environment. 

Preferred Qualifications

•    Preferable, experience and knowledge in HR process mapping, efficiency, and improvements 
•    Strong analytical skills and results orientation.
•    Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
•    Advanced quantitative skills with knowledge of modeling (MS Excel,) and presentation (MS PowerPoint)
•    Fluent written and spoken German and English.
