Pratt & Whitney Military Engines is looking for a Product Owner to advance the F135 Program’s digital and data capability. As a self-directed individual, you will be partnering with business stakeholders and Digital Technology (DT) teams to build an ecosystem of digital solutions and data products in our emerging data mesh.  The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, as well as experience in software product management.

The Product Owner (PO) is responsible or defining Stories and prioritizing the Team Backlog to streamline the execution of F135 Program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the team’s deliverables.  This role is critical for maximizing the value produced by the team and ensuring deliverables meet the end user needs and comply with the Definition of Done.  A PO builds significant relationships and responsibilities outside the team, including working with Product Management, Customers, Business Owners, and other stakeholders.  The Product Manager will also be responsible for developing product strategies and roadmaps.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps that align with business objectives and customer needs, and communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understand and maximize value proposition of products owned.
  • Gather feedback from customers and stakeholders to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch and growth of products. Define and analyze key product metrics to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Create and maintain product documentation, including user stories, product requirements, and release plans.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of project/program management experience; or an advanced Degree, with 7 years of project/program management experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner on an Agile team
  • Onsite participation for quarterly increment planning events in East Hartford, CT required.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Agile Framework Certification (CSPO, SAFe etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile backlog management tools (JIRA preferred)
  • Strong facilitation /presentation skills

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
