Part-time and per diem opportunities available for dedicated Registered Nurse Supervisors. This role is empowered and accountable for ensuring our staff delivers exceptional care that meets or exceeds our residents’ expectations. The Nurse Manager will oversee and coordinate care delivery, ensuring all healthcare needs, including social and emotional aspects, are met through an interdisciplinary approach.

  • Mission Integration: Demonstrate, promote, and integrate the missions of the organization, Mercy Community Health, and our core values in daily activities.

  • Unit Management: Manage the nursing unit to provide quality resident care and effective resource utilization.

  • Policy Implementation: Participate in developing and implementing policies and procedures, assisting in their effective execution.

  • Resource Role: Serve as a resource for staff nurses and CNAs regarding resident care.

 

Requirements: 

1. Education - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

2. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut.

3. Three years in Clinical practice, with one year in long-term care required.

4. Acute care and supervisory experience preferred.

5. Computer literacy strongly preferred.

6. CPR certification.
