Comp: 85k – 125k, with additional incentives

SUMMARY:

As a Project Manager at Potomac Testing, you will collaborate with senior management to oversee all project aspects, from labor to budget management. This role offers a well-defined career path in project management and senior leadership. We seek a highly motivated, competent, and organized candidate with excellent communication skills who can adapt quickly.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage a diverse range of electrical projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget, quality standards, and scope requirements, all while maintaining safety.
• Work closely with senior team members, suppliers, and contractors to synchronize schedules, manage inventory, handle materials, and facilitate project communications.
• Conduct regular on-site visits to assigned projects, engaging with customers and collaborating with various trades while representing the organization professionally.
• Foster and maintain positive relationships with customers, engineers, inspectors, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
• Perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Fulfill any other related duties as assigned.
• Anticipate approximately 15-20% travel as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Detail-oriented professional with outstanding problem-solving skills, a passion for tackling new challenges, and a commitment to achieving results.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Competency in estimating and quoting.
• Excellent time management skills, adaptable to various schedules and environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of tools, equipment, and project layouts.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Project Management preferred.
• A degree in Construction Management is advantageous.
• Familiarity with NETA (InterNational Electrical Testing Association) practices is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Periods of prolonged sitting at a desk while working on a computer.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds when required.
