They are located at Abbott`s German headquarters in Wiesbaden and its sites in Hanover, Neustadt am Rübenberge, Wetzlar, Eschborn, Cologne, Jena, and Hamburg.</p><p></p><p><b>The Opportunity</b></p><p></p><p>This position works out of our location in Wiesbaden (Abbott GmbH) in the Abbott Diabetes Care division that is focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions.</p><p></p><p></p><p><b>What You’ll Do</b></p><p></p><ul><li>Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for eCommerce projects.</li><li>Analyzing existing IT systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and integration with eCommerce solutions.</li><li>Leading and managing eCommerce projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.</li><li>Collaborating closely with UX/UI designers to enhance the customer journey and improve the overall user experience on the eCommerce platform.</li><li>Utilizing data analytics to monitor eCommerce performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.</li><li>Coordinating with external vendors and partners to implement and maintain eCommerce solutions.</li><li>Ensuring all eCommerce activities comply with healthcare regulations and data privacy, Cybersecurity standards.</li><li>Providing training and support to internal teams on eCommerce tools and best practices.</li><li>Reviewing business processes from end-to-end, identify and address operational, financial, and technological risks while also identifying opportunities to optimize and improve efficiency.</li><li>Collaborating with shared services in exploring options that enhance current applications. Foster productive interactions across teams within the organization, promoting the eCommerce strategy and roadmap.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>Qualifications &amp; Skills</b></p><p></p><ul><li>Bachelor in IT or related discipline</li><li>Minimum of 4 – 7 years of experience in business architecture, process improvement, or a related field.</li><li>Proficiency in English for effective global communication within Abbott’s IT delivery framework.</li><li>Proven expertise in requirement gathering and documentation techniques including user stories and process flows.</li><li>Hands-on experience with at least two of these areas: Commerce Tools, Magento, Digital Marketing (AEM, Web Analytics), Sales/Service Cloud (salesforce.com)</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>End to End <span>understanding of</span> eCommerce operations processes and systems.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.</li><li>Executive Leadership presentation skills</li><li>Internal-customer engagement skills for requirement gathering and expectation management are essential.</li><li>Prior exposure to Life Sciences or Medical Technology sectors are advantageous.</li><li>MBA degree is desirable.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>Working at Abbott </b></p><p></p><p>At Abbott, you can do work that matters and help people to live a healthier and full life, grow your career, and learn, be your true self.
