You Are:

The Accounts Receivable Closeout Specialist for Accenture Federal Services.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Work with multiple teams and stakeholders across the AFS organization.
  • Understand business stakeholders and functional processes related to contract closeout.
  • Ensure quality and integrity of financial data related to contract closeout.
  • Perform data reconciliations to ensure final financial packets comply with federal closeout requirements and internal AFS policies and procedures.
  • Perform comprehensive financial analysis for de-obligation requests, interim final vouchers, and final closeouts.
  • Comply with document retention policies.
  • Dedicated person who has proved to have extensive (or near complete) knowledge of the closeout role, and support activities. Including reading and understanding contracts, and impact to the business.
  • Minimally supports Closeout questions from other departments, concerning de-obs, quick closes, Close status, etc.
  • Job aid creation and upkeep.
  • Provide feedback to Analysts and Senior analyst on performance when required.
  • Formal training of new joiners/contractors
  • Expected to help team members with questions and walk through complicated problems. Understands when to escalate.
  • Provide support in meetings set up by analysts with the project teams.
  • Monitors project completion progress with each analyst assigned to them.
  • Interviews prospective team members with Associate manager.

Here's What You Need:

  • US Citizen Required
  • Minimum 2-year experience in Costpoint and Accounts Receivable Billing
  • Minimum 2-year experience in Costpoint and Cognos Enterprise Reporting
  • Minimum 2-year experience interpreting federal contracts for billing requirements and funding amounts.
  • Minimum 2-year experience with MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Minimum 2-year experience reviewing invoices for accuracy within Deltek Costpoint for posting.

 

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
