OnsiteCollins Aerospace is seeking an Onsite Material Management professional for our Largo, FL manufacturing site. We are seeking a candidate who understands and applies material management principles which enables them to develop solutions to a variety of problems. In this role you will manage Demand/Supply in support of achieving MRP schedules that support customer requirements. Responsibilities include analyzing material availability, communicating factory priorities, identifying barriers and solutions to enable the factory to meet plans, and taking appropriate action to ensure program goals are achieved. The ability to connect and communicate will be instrumental in aligning our team’s efforts to achieve our objectives.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required ; U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Written and verbal communication skills, with great interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams, with the ability to follow Leader Standard Work.
- Highly organized, capable of multitasking, problem-solving, and the ability to think innovatively under pressure.
Qualifications We Prefer:.
- Experience in material planning and order execution.
- Working knowledge of SAP and government contracting requirements.
- Program management experience with a solid understanding of production and planning control fundamentals, including MRP, inventory management, supply & demand, logistics, procurement, capacity planning, scheduling, and lean manufacturing.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and applications as required.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and with limited supervision.
