• Supporting over 3,000 Windows servers
• Over 25,000 users
• Hybrid environment of on premise and multiple external cloud offerings
• Direct support for various business applications including package software
• Support monitoring utilizing SCOM
• Support on call rotation
• Solve and manage walkup/cases and day to day priority for assigned work
In addition to the skills listed above, the ideal candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate:
Extensive knowledge and experience with MS Windows Server OS with emphasis on designing and building enterprise scale deployments
Understanding of network and firewall requirements for server builds
Images, GPO’s, Secure configuration, and the ability to troubleshoot/support with peer teams ancillary processes such as patching, audit, etc.
Extensive knowledge and experience with infrastructure automation, enable self-service
Strong knowledge of PowerShell and PowerCLI
Understanding of network and firewall requirements for server builds
Understanding Physical and Virtual storage with respect to server builds
Proven change management controls (process)
Server HA such as clustering, preferred clustering for Windows
Communications
Ability to provide executive presence and communication
Ability to manage conversations with customers, vendors, and management not only for daily tasks but also for projects and production outages
Establish process across teams for technical components and services
Contribute to process design across teams for technical components and services
Seen as a leader in technology with ability to teach and influence use cases, designs, and standards - Ex. Business support, PCI, PII, and technical robustness, knowledge management (technical)
Past experience leading and supporting a Community of Practice
Skills That Standout
Demonstrated knowledge of AWS and Azure for Enterprise support/installations
Certifications: AWS Cloud Practitioner or Azure Fundamental
Can contribute to POC/New Tech with peer teams across the organization
Ability to thrive in a team environment that is growing and changing quickly as services adapt
Ability to create/manage automation of deployments and process (required)
Previous experience working within teams utilizing Agile and Lean principles
