Our mission is to lead with financial acumen, integrity, strong leadership and associate development. We are currently seeking a talented Cost Accounting Manager to join our team in Remote, US.

The Cost Accounting Manager will oversee staff cost accountants and be the go-to person for the transactions within the cost accounting function. 

About the Job:

  • Perform technical cost accounting work involving the keeping of financial data and records
  • Daily management of Staff Cost Accountants
  • Coordination of support back-ups for all cost accounting functions
  • Supports generation of timely financial statements – verifies results and analyzes variances. Includes the creation, posting, & review of Journal entries, and Account Reconciliations
  • Monitors the recording of transactions within the established systems and procedures
  • Communicates with all departments to coordinate and establish accounting procedures for non-routine items
  • Direct the retention of historical cost accounting records
  • Assist in the preparation of accounting and management control reports
  • Lead ad-hoc and special projects

What you Need:

  • Bachelor’s in accounting or related degree
  • 5+ years of of related accounting/finance experience including supervisory responsibilities
  • Manufacturing Cost Accounting Experience 
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn new skills and embrace emerging technologies
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Working experience using a large ERP system, SAP preferred
