Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to supporting employees, maintaining compliance, and contributing to a positive workplace culture.

Role Overview

The HR Generalist will provide comprehensive support across core HR functions including employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, compliance, and performance management. This position works closely with employees and managers to ensure HR policies are effectively implemented and organizational goals are supported.

Key Responsibilities

• Support recruitment efforts, onboarding processes, and employee orientation
• Assist in resolving employee relations issues and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with employment laws and company standards
• Collaborate with leadership to promote employee engagement and retention initiatives
• Coordinate training and development programs to support workforce capability
• Contribute to HR reporting and analytics to inform decision-making and track key metrics

• Support union-related processes and communications in coordination with HR leadership

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 3–5 years of HR experience in a generalist role
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality

Preferred:

• Experience working in unionized environments
• Familiarity with Workday or similar HRIS platforms
• Exposure to Department of Defense (DoD) or Space Force protocols
