The Position
The Analyst will be responsible for day to day support activities related to Veeva Data Change Requests, field inquires on customer data related to address changes, name changes, State License Numbers and other field questions. Role will work with Customer Data Master (CDM) system and become an expert in how to use the CDM tool to maintain NNI customer data.
Position will have responsibility for ensuring quality master data and data governance standards are maintained and enforced.
Relationships
This role reports to the Sr. Manager of Master Data with-in the Master /Data Team in the Data Strategy and Execution Master/Data Team in the CI&A department.
Primary internal relationships are within Data Strategy, Information Management, Market Access, all Field Sales teams, Omni Channel, Legal and Compliance. External relationships will include other NNI stakeholders and external vendors as needed.
Essential Functions
- Understanding of Master Data including:
- Understanding of HealthCare Systems and Market Access PBM, Payer, Employer, Plan, affiliations and overall account data standards and how they are employed by NNI field systems
- Must be able to look at business requirements and compare to HCP / HCO data from outside sources like IQVIA, MedPro and internal sources like Veeva, etc
- Ensure field and home office questions through Veeva, F1RST, ServiceNow or any other method are addressed in a timely, accurate manner
- Maintain records and metrics of various inquiries including generating weekly and adhoc reports on quality and performance
- Provide support for the data stewarding team including answering questions, assisting with training, etc.
- Creates or maintains training manuals and or work instructions for processes and systems required
- Data Steward for Healthcare Customers (including Professionals and Organizations) which includes, but is not limited to:
- Consolidation of duplicate records
- Ensuring all required identifiers are listed on the consolidated records
- Investigating potential affiliations between both HCP and HCO
- Providing support to various field force teams for Call Plan targeting processes
- Addressing field force and home office data change requests
- Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for various system releases
- Provide ad-hoc assistance to various team members, and stakeholders
- Collaborate across boundaries to ensure data quality requirements are being identified across multiple stakeholders to drive accuracy in data delivery
- Develops change request process, analyze change requests, disposition and implementation alternatives and implementation impacts
- Employs problem solving skills to efficiently resolve data issues and participate in managing ad hoc projects as necessary:
- Provides knowledge, makes recommendations and shares point of view w/relevant stakeholders regarding the entire Customer Data Domain
- Ensure timely receipt of data from vendors and ensure data integrity
Physical Requirements
0-10% overnight travel required.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in finance, business, computers, marketing or related field
- A minimum of 2 years' pharmaceutical or equivalent industry required
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Must be able to work independently and have excellent communication and writing skills
- Organized and Detail Oriented
- Ability to multi-task, and transition between assignments quickly
- Experience in Customer Master and Data Analysis a plus, preferably in Pharmaceutical / Health Industry Professional and Organizati
