Underwriting Assistant, Major Accounts Construction

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Ability to support multiple underwriters and multiple product lines simultaneously
• Maintain records management information in applicable software database
• Communicate with customers to confirm or obtain data needed for policy issuance and servicing
• Handle set-up of electronic policy files
• Provide primary communication and direction for all processing requirements including policy issuance instruction, endorsement requests, billing requirements, and audit review
• Identify appropriate company forms and endorsements used in policy construction.
• Maintain service standards by timely response to broker requests and timely receipt of UW information in addition to meeting deadlines on submissions, quotations, binders, and policies
• Other duties and special projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Insurance knowledge/experience required 
• Strong data entry skills – experience with Microsoft Word and Excel applications.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills required.
• Good attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication skills required.
• Must be a team player.
• Must be flexible and able to adapt to change.
