This Opportunity  

In this position, you will have the opportunity to build a platform and services that will improve imaging in healthcare for researchers, life science companies and doctors. 

You contributions will empower researchers to derive insights from exabytes of healthcare data, that will accelerate research, drug discovery and treatment delivery. You will harness cloud computing power at a massive scale to process textual and non-textual data.  

Responsibilities: 

• Build data storage and APIs for exabyte scale services using modern cloud-based paradigms 
• Deliver scalable software for image processing Software as a Service 
• Keep customers first in a DevOps model 
• Learn quickly and iterate rapidly in an evolving product landscape 
• Strictly uphold the privacy and security of patient data obtained from our healthcare partners
• Design distributed systems, DNS cache, data pipelines, platform APIs
• Drive entire features, mentor junior developers, and cultivate a positive work environment 

Key Qualifications:  

• 5+ years of experience developing production quality software in a team setting.
• 2+ years of experience developing for modern cloud-native platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Experience in C#, Java, python, or a similar high-level language
• Prior experience in containers, Kubernetes
• Excellent problem-solving skills 
• Experience with image processing (compression and pixel manipulation techniques) using medical, satellite, aerial, or astronomical images.
• Experience with DICOM, HL7 or integration projects leveraging IHE or XDS is a plus
• Experience developing healthcare components (PACS, VNA, RIS) and workflows is a plus
• Experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop is a plus
• B.S. in Computer Science or related field is required. An M.S. or PhD is a plus

• The base pay for this position is $152,00 to $233,000. The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target. Pay is based on several factors including location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional compensation such as incentive pay and stock options.
