JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State Outreach has designed and implemented the Keystone Collective Impact (KCI), a new, synergistic framework/model designed to cultivate a more unified outreach effort across the university and Commonwealth through the use of a common agenda with shared metrics and mechanisms for continuous communication across units, programs, and community stakeholders, for the KCI framework to achieve its ambitious mission, a dynamic and detail-oriented leader is required. The Director, Keystone Collective Impact is a newly created position designed to address this organizational need. It will be part of a small team responsible for driving day-to-day administration, community engagement, and data functions. 

Working with community partners:

• Develops and maintains community partner directory; coordinates and tracks networking events with community partners and addresses follow-up needs as appropriate

• Coordinates research with initiative partners to identify and minimize redundancies; aligns strategies and actions; conducts individual outreach and education to meet strategy

• Working with Director, Community Engagement to identify the landscape of local and regional activities, projects, and coalitions for integration into committee and workgroups

• Securing support and recommendations from elected officials and community partners

• Provide oversight to the Keystone Collective Impact Scholars Program; serve as liaison between Outreach and aligned College of Agricultural Science Education, Development, and Community Engagement (EDCE) graduate program

• Manages and creates yearly summary reports

Communications:

• Facilitates communications between KCI and current and potential community partners

• Plans, attends and manages community events as needed

• Creates summary reports of KCI’s progress for steering committee, partnership board, and external partners

• Coordinates with marketing and communications on materials to include; documents, brochures, reports,  social media, and press releases

Fund development and management:

• Working with the Director, Community Engagement and others to identify potential funding sources to support Keystone C
