We are looking to hire a Senior Director of Technology to join our BIMS Global Infrastructure Team. As part of the team, you will oversee the implementation, maintenance and consolidation of our global hosted infrastructure in data centers worldwide, and act directly on client-facing systems. You will be involved in the day-to-day operations as well as work on challenging projects aimed towards continuous improvement and evolution of our technology environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Engineering, implementation, and maintenance of Storage and Citrix environment
  • Daily administration of infrastructure
  • Build and implement deployment and management tools and processes for efficiency and consistency
  • Automation of repeatable tasks, processes, and procedures, provisioning, alerting, monitoring, reporting, maintenance, backup recovery, and business continuity/disaster recovery process
  • Analysis and resolution of system-related incidents
  • Participate in the continuous improvement process for refining the architecture, performance, and scalability to improve the quality and uptime of the environment
  • Coordinate the deployment of new hardware to meet client expectations
  • Develop and enhance system policies, procedures, and controls
  • Ensure adherence to Information Security guidelines
  • Collaborate with international clients and global internal teams

Technologies integral to our operating environments include:

  • Microsoft Windows Server
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS
  • Automation and deployment tools (Ansible, Jenkins, GIT, Python, Perl, Shell scripting, or similar)
  • Postfix, Apache, Tomcat, OpenLDAP / Active Directory / MySQL
  • Networking devices: Cisco
  • Virtual connection: Citrix
  • Load Balancers: NetScaler
  • Virtual IP management
  • Server hardware platforms: HP/Cisco UCS
  • Virtualization Hypervisors: VMware
  • SAN/NAS Storage, backup (EMC, HP, Zerto)
  • Monitoring tools (ITRS, Spectrum, DataDog, Splunk, etc.)


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 15 years of Windows and UNIX/Linux Systems Engineering experience including managing projects and people within a large infrastructure environment
  • RHCSE or RHCSA or RHCA is preferred
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification is preferred
  • Very strong problem-solving skills, with proven ability to analyze, determine root cause and resolution of complex problems
  • Experience in tracking and analyzing performance and resource utilization of systems, as well as recommending capacity changes, upgrades, and enhancements based on the technical analysis to ensure high availability and maintenance of SLAs
  • Good analytical skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work and think well independently, and in a team environment
  • Good understanding of the risks and potential impact of working on a 24/7 live environment
  • Strong experience in production support of 24/7 live environments. Must be able to work under extreme pressure with a good understanding of the risks and potential impact of managing client-facing global high-end and low-latency servers
  • Participate in the implementation of solutions involving data encryption, data masking, secure file transfers, and data leakage prevention
  • Experience with Active Directory including remediation and consolidation, as well as a strong foundation in other directory service technologies including GPO, DNS, and DHCP
  • Hands-on experience designing and configuring environment tools including antivirus, patch management, and System Administration tools
  • Experience developing detailed standards, design, implementation processes, and documentation
  • Experience with PowerShell, VBScript, Python, WMI, etc.
  • Able to work flexible hours (including nights and weekends) if needed
  • Motivated, hardworking, and exceptional attention to detail
  • Proven crisis management skills
  • Excellent leadership and mentoring skills
  • Strong interpersonal and written / verbal communication skills
  • Financial Services industry experience is a plus
  • AWS experience is a plus

Salary Range: $195,000 to $210,000 Annual
