Chemonics seeks a Compliance and Risk Sr. Associate who will serve as the primary focal point for archiving the Global Health Supply Chain - Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project and Supply Chain Management (SCM) Division. The Sr. Associate is responsible for completing assigned tasks related to recordkeeping, file architecture, internal reviews, drafting recommendations, and responding to external assessments. This position may involve up to 30% of time spent in travel status. This role requires on-site work in our Washington, DC office location as part of our hybrid, flexible work structure. Responsibilities:
- Serve as the focal point for archiving the PSM project and other SCM Division projects.
- Work with PMUs and project offices to classify, file, and archive both soft and hard copy documents following standardized corporate guidance.
- Complete Master File Indexes (MFIs) and advise PMUs on MFIs.
- Undertake short-term assignments to PSM and other SCM Division project offices to archive hard copy files, complete file clean up from internal reviews, and/or train project office staff on archiving.
- In consultation with the Sr. Specialist and Director, review FCR and Quality Assurance Desk Review findings for PSM projects and assist in closing out recommendations.
- Assist in other closeout trainings, consultations, or travel as required.
- Appropriately consults with the HSC Contracts, RFC Risk and Audit Response, Records Management, RFC Finance, and other teams to problem solve and find creative solutions to issues that arise.
- Assist Sr. Specialist and Director to capture lessons learned, best practices, and recommendations to enhance archiving policies and procedures related to the GHSC-PSM project.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as a member of the SCM Compliance and Risk Team, as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of internal audit, file archiving, compliance, project management, or other applicable experience
- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational and work prioritization skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, and lead presentations, training courses, and effective meetings
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility and integrity
- Familiarity with Chemonics’ financial, subcontract management, procurement, and filing processes preferred
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of time
