About the role

This role can be hired remotely anywhere within the U.S.

In this role, you’ll work closely across the Marketing and Sales departments to assist in running end-to-end marketing programs that will have a direct impact on company revenue, managing the process of data integrity through various platforms, most notably Marketo, general database upkeep, reporting and the lead lifecycle process. The Marketing Operations Manager will lead and drive key projects for the marketing organization, ensuring standardization practices and predictability in functions related to the lead lifecycle. You will work across the Marketing organization, and will manage the implementation of systems, processes, campaign/email reporting, etc.

How you'll make an impact

  • Lead, measure and analyze the effectiveness of marketing related  functions related to the lead lifecycle, including lead routing, lead management, lead scoring, lead tracking, campaign tracking, and reporting.
  • Develop, deploy, and optimize operational standards used by the greater marketing and sales development teams that promote scalability and predictability.
  • Manage technical aspects of key marketing systems (including but not limited to landing page builders, email support, marketing systems administration).
  • Work with outside marketing agencies, CRM administrators and internal marketing stakeholders to ensure data is clean, campaigns are executed accurately and on time, and marketing metrics are reported accurately.
  • Identify areas of inefficiency for process and technology improvement and propose solutions that will scale.
  • Manage our marketing database, including improving the quality of data, and advise with key stakeholders on new data acquisition and augmentation. Manage our data quality and drive projects to improve our segmentation.
  • Collaborate with Demand Generation, SDR, Sales, and Sales Ops on the development of an ABM and Whitespace strategy.
  • Lead the Marketing Ops team to work collaboratively with cross-functional marketing teams to execute against various marketing campaigns and programs through emails, list uploads, audience targeting.
  • Review the marketing organization’s current use of marketing technology, define and enhance logical integrations between them, and identify and implement improvement opportunities.
  • Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance.
  • Managing the lead scoring system and routing processes as well as the training of BDR/SDR teams in lead processes

  • Manage a team of Marketing Ops professionals.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years in B2B marketing 3+ years implementing and managing marketing technology systems and ability to implement and learn new systems
  • 5+ years in Marketing Automation (Marketo)
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing and sales funnel measurement
  • Experience with SalesLoft, Outreach, or similar sales productivity tool a plus
  • Experience with Marketing tech stack, performance marketing, and reporting/attribution tools
  • Strong experience in collaborating effectively with key Sales/Marketing stakeholders and leading by influence.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity to develop and embrace new standard methodologies to build a continuous improvement culture.
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented
  • Excellent problem solver who can work independently
  • Quick learner who can take initiative and assume accountability
  • Extremely tech-savvy and data oriented – you are not only comfortable learning new software, you thrive at it and enjoy it

  • Strong presentation skills
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to work greater than 40 hours per week as needed
  • Ability to travel at least 15 percent of the time
