THE JOB: 

As a Food Server II, your primary goal is to elevate the guest experience through outstanding customer service by deeply understanding each guest’s unique preferences and needs.  You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.

THE STARTING PAY RATE:  $13.5894 / Per Hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Maintain Menu Knowledge: Stay well-informed about all menu items, including liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages available to our guests
• Assist with Selections: Guide guests through their food and beverage choices by presenting the menu, recommending cocktails and aperitifs, suggesting courses, explaining the Chef’s specialties, and identifying suitable wine pairings. Address any questions about food preparation
• Order Management: Accurately record and transmit orders to the bar and kitchen, noting any special dietary needs or requests from patrons
• Handle Transactions: Process sales, handle payments, and adhere to all cash handling procedures. Prepare daily reports and complete necessary paperwork
• Prepare Dining Area: Keep your work area clean and well-stocked. Set up dining tables with appropriate linens, decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils
• Ensure Safety and Compliance: Follow sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies to protect both the establishment and its patrons
• Deliver Exceptional Service: Maintain the highest level of customer service, attentively addressing guest needs and ensuring a memorable dining experience
• Perform Additional Duties: Carry out other job-related tasks as assigned to support the smooth operation of the restaurant

RESTAURANT DETAILS:

Hours of Operation:

• Monday – Sunday:  10:00 AM – 1:00 AM
• (May work before/after these times for opening and closing procedures)

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be able to obtain both a TAM card (Alcohol Awareness) and Food Handlers card
• High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent
• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• At least one year of previous experience in à la carte serving, ideally in a restaurant with a three-diamond (AAA Diamond Rating) or higher classification (four or five diamonds)
• Three (3) years of experience in fine dining ala carte serving in a high-volume restaurant
• Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills
• Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• Capable of standing and walking for a majority of the shift
• Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
