Lead Technical Program Manager
NikeAbout the role
The Lead, Technical Program Manager drives end-to-end delivery of Enterprise Business Planning priorities across the software development lifecycle. This person orchestrates dependencies, sequences priorities, tracks risk and translates between technical delivery and business outcomes to keep cross-domain execution on commitment.
Enterprise Business Planning is Nike's company-wide transformation to move from fragmented, analyst-heavy reporting to a governed, AI-ready decision platform. It spans every planning domain: retail and product performance, inventory, finance, rolling forecast, KPI governance, and AI-driven insights. This role sits at the operational center of that work, embedded in the GT EBP Program and Change Management team.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You report to the Director, GT EBP Program and Change Management and partner daily with the broader EBP leadership team across Solution Delivery and Product Strategy. You will work closely with domain product teams throughout GT and with global and geo business stakeholders who depend on EBP outputs to run the business. You will also engage regularly with GT BI and Data and Analytics teams to coordinate platform and integration work, and with senior and executive-level partners to drive alignment, escalate risk, and communicate progress.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You are a seasoned program manager who thrives in complex, matrixed environments where the stakes are high and the pace is real. You connect technical execution to business outcomes naturally, communicate with confidence across all levels of the organization, and build the kind of operating rhythm that makes teams more effective. You are as comfortable facilitating an architecture alignment session with engineers as you are presenting risk and mitigation to senior leadership.
At this level, you are an advanced professional who coaches others and improves how the broader team delivers. You bring deep experience defining program structure and operating models, strong judgment in ambiguity, and a track record of moving complex, multi-workstream programs across the finish line. You use AI tools in your own work because you know they make you sharper, not because someone told you to.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You will own program delivery at the intersection of technology and enterprise business planning. In practice, that means:
Leading program orchestration across the SDLC: dependency management, priority sequencing, and risk escalation across GT domains
Maintaining integrated progress and risk tracking: with clear mitigation paths and accountability visible to senior leadership
Facilitating PI and sprint planning cadences: that reduce review and approval overhead and connect cross-domain efforts into a coherent delivery plan
Driving delivery oversight against EBP commitments: ensuring execution meets scope, quality, and timeline across business functions
Coordinating platform and integration work: across o9, Databricks, and Informatica in partnership with GT BI/DAI teams
Supporting delivery of AI-driven insights capabilities: as part of EBP's Automation and AI workstream, where understanding what "AI-ready" means in a data platform context matters
Supporting AOP, quarterly planning, and status updates: in relevant leadership forums
By doing this well, you will:
Build cross-functional alignment and trust by translating between technical delivery and business outcomes
Give leadership executive-ready visibility into progress, risk, and dependencies across EBP forums and squad-level activation
Create a predictable operating rhythm so teams plan, commit, and deliver against a consistent end-to-end EBP cadence
Surface change impacts proactively and adapt plans as conditions evolve
KEY PROGRAM COMPETENCIES
Program management at scale: expert at facilitating and managing high-complexity, holistic program plans across multiple parallel workstreams and cross-functional teams
Agile mindset: highly proficient in agile frameworks, PI planning, and sprint disciplines, with the ability to coach others to strong practice
Risk, issue, and dependency management: proactively identifies and drives mitigation, escalates issues with precision, and collaborates across functions to resolve complex delivery blockers
