Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is the flagship casino resort of Hard Rock International, owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. This world-renowned entertainment, gaming and hospitality destination unveiled a $1.5 billion expansion on Oct. 24, 2019. New offerings include 638 upscale guestrooms in the first-ever Guitar Hotel, 168 luxury guestrooms and unique swim-up suites in the adjacent Oasis Tower at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, and 465 newly redesigned guestrooms in Hard Rock Hotel for a combined room count of 1,271 throughout the resort. Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment and maintain physical stamina.
- Proper mental attitude and ability to deal effectively with guests, physical ability to access all areas of the facility, withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending, kneeling, lifting and carrying items weighting up to 40 lbs without restriction.
- Must be congenial and have neat, professional appearance with good personal hygiene.
- Must be reliable and conscientious, possess the ability to interact (in English) with guests, co-workers and supervisory staff.
- Must be accurate and detail oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to act quickly and exercise good judgment under pressure and/or conflict situations is a must.
- Performs all other related and compatible duties as needed.
- Greet and serves guests in a timely and courteous
- Take guest orders, serves food and drinks, and collects monies in a courteous and efficient manner. Adhere to cash handling procedures.
- Is familiar with all menu specifications and
- Adheres to food & beverage policies, procedures, state liquor laws, state food safety handler regulations and all related training material.
- Knowledgeable of restaurant (ordering) systems; expediting
- Communicates with kitchen expeditor; checks order duplicates for correctness; communicates discrepancies to the
- Completes all set-up and closing duties in a timely
- Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of
- Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
- Handles and solves any concerns and questions customers may have or relays guest complaints/compliments to the appropriate Manager on
- Promotes positive public/employee relations at all
- Perform other assignments as directed.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Minimum three (3) years of food service experience. Table service restaurant experience highly preferred.
- Must be able to carry trays that weigh a minimum of 10lbs. on one
- Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable entertainment
