Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Supplier Program Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in El Segundo, CA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Establishes technical and business direction and processes to meet financial, delivery and product conformity targets.
  • Develops and leads company procurement and contractual strategies for key suppliers, and programs.
  • Provides technical oversight and guidance of strategic supplier plans.
  • Directs the development of recovery plans.
  • Establishes technical and business guidance to meet financial, delivery and product conformity targets.
  • Identifies strategic work movement projects and plan elements.
  • Integrates company sourcing strategies, procurement and program activities.
  • Works directly with strategic customers to develop concepts and requirements for future business opportunities.

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Technical Bachelor's, Master's or a PhD degree. (A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study)
  • More than 10 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance
  • More than 10 years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • More than 10 years of experience in program management within supplier management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • More than 10 years of experience working in Supply Chain Management, Finance or Program Management
  • More than 10 years of experience with proposal development and contract negotiations
  • More than 10 years of experience in root cause analysis and Corrective action

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 20 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+15 years' related work experience, Master+18 years' related work experience, 24 years' related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
