We are currently seeking a Testing Engineering Specialist to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

 

Responsibilities:

- Improving overall quality assurance outcomes through planning and execution of manual testing across multiple software development projects to ensure that the design and software adhere to company standards

- Help implement testing strategies, resulting in efficient test development and execution practices that are required for successful delivery

- Work with other QA engineers to deliver the project on time and with top-notch quality

- Work on multiple applications for projects

- Provide support to stakeholders for the test requirements, test results analysis/clarifications, etc.

- Mentor other QA team members. Includes coordinating all testing activities with onsite and offsite QA teams.

- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate required testing activities

- Help establish quality goals, metrics, and develop new tools/processes to ensure the quality goals are met

- Participate in the design, delivery, and execution of manual test scripts to validate functional business requirements by defining preconditions, case steps, success criteria, etc

- Review test scripts/cases with developers and product managers to ensure consistency and adherence to functional requirement documents

- Follow standard testing procedures and provide recommendations for improvement. Remain at the forefront of emerging industry best practices

 

Basic Qualifications: 

- 3+ years providing Data Validation and testing on SDLC projects.

- Defect Tracking

- JIRA, ALM

 

Nice to have:

- Life and Annuity (L&A) product lines

 

Education:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
