Manager, Customer Development
Position Summary: The Customer Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and nurturing new business volume and analyzing growth for potential customers for TireHub. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in sales and business development.

Role Specifics:
§ Actively pursue new business opportunities with independent dealers in conjunction with revitalizing dormant or underperforming accounts to drive growth.
§ Demonstrate capacity for innovative thinking, with the ability to recognize and implement ideas that advance TireHub’s strategic objectives and align with its business plan.
§ Demonstrate the ability to successfully manage and develop relationship at all levels with customers and maintain a target list of competitors—top 40.
§ Proficient in comprehending and articulating all components of tire programs, surrounding the rationale behind tire sales.
§ Facilitate and finalize agreements with clients to optimize revenue and profitability.
§ Utilize Customer Relationship Management software to track sales activities and manage customer interaction.
§ Generate sales proposals, conduct sales presentations, provide accurate and timely sales forecasts.
§ Collaborate with Sales Leadership on general “go to market” approach-pricing, programs, channel strategy, and supplier relationships.
§ Deploy and manage unique TireHub Large Dealer Programs.
§ Ensure compliance with all TireHub policies including but not limit to trade compliance and treatment of others.
§ Ensure adherence to all applicable laws pertaining to safety.
§ Complete other task as needed from leadership

- Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments such as marketing, credit/AR, and operations to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.

Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business or 10 years equivalent work experience required
- 7-10 years of increasing leadership responsibility in sales roles
- At least 10 years’ experience in the tire industry
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales and profitability target in large sales territories
- Demonstrated success in developing and deploying strategies for increase sales and revenue with large accounts
