About the role

As Senior Nordic Project (CAR EAR) Underwriter you will be a part of our new Nordic expert team in Green Energy and Construction and take an active part in driving the development of If Industrial’s Green Energy and Construction portfolio in all Nordic markets.

You will underwrite Green Energy Projects by assessing customer exposures, design insurance programs and negotiate with clients and brokers to reach the best solutions for our clients.   

In your role you will work in client teams together with Account Executive, Risk Engineers, Assistants and Claims Adjusters to provide high quality knowledge and service to both new and existing customers.  

About the team

This team will initially consist of five underwriters reporting to the Head of Green Energy and Construction. You and the team will collaborate closely with dedicated green energy underwriters working with operational green energy and specialists in other departments, such as Risk Management and Sales. Together you will work towards fostering knowledge sharing, utilize cross-functional expertise and ensure support across our Nordic organization.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have an academic background and a passion for the green energy transition and it`s technologies.

To be successful in the role and the further development of our strategic direction, you must have:

• Proven expertise in CAR EAR underwriting, with a deep understanding of green energy technology development, regulatory environment, and financing models

• Several years of experience underwriting large international projects

• A well-established network in the green energy space and solid market knowledge

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills
