The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Providing technical systems assistance for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of plant wide equipment including robotics, pneumatic and hydraulic.
- Troubleshooting and solving complex equipment problems.
- Developing and implementing maintenance procedures and techniques for a safe, reliable and efficient operation of the plant.
- Analyzing available data to improve the equipment maintenance plan.
- Training and development of the maintenance and production work force.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Possess a High School Diploma / GED or higher (completed prior to start)
- Ability to work rotating weekends, overtime, or holidays as needed
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- PIV certification
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Possess a good understanding for mechanical design & operation, including hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes, lubrication, etc.
- Basic understanding of predictive/preventative maintenance and condition monitoring techniques
