The Senior CM is responsible for developing strategies, proactively identifying opportunities, engaging, and partnering with internal stakeholders to lead contract negotiations and managing Category / Sub-Category suppliers to deliver Customer expectations while ensuring alignment across the organization.

 

  • Maintains business partner relationships with internal stakeholders and acts as a commercial key point of contact for category / sub-category activities.
  • Responsible for Supplier contract execution & management.  Prepares and reviews SOW and leads the implementation of comprehensive Supplier agreements in coordination with Qorvo Legal contracts team, internal stakeholders and other Qorvo support areas as applicable.
  • Manages supplier relationships and supports Qorvo globally.
  • Always works within the code of conduct, ethical, and legal boundaries of the purchasing profession.
  • Analyzes Spend, formulates, and implements strategies to mitigate risks, improve service, deliver high value sourcing and innovation, achieve savings and payment term objectives, and drive standardization across the organization to enable Qorvo’s growth objectives.
  • Develops, communicates, implements, trains internal customers and monitors Sourcing & Procurement policies, procedures & systems.
  • Responsible for oversight of PO structure, timely purchase orders submittal and follows-up with suppliers on orders and related issues.
  • Prepare and present reports to Management.
  • Leads supplier evaluation and selection process with key stakeholders. Formulates RFP's and RFQ's. 
  • Reviews supplier performance issues to ensure those get resolved effectively and promptly.
  • Responsible for Vendor set up and onboarding
  • Leads cross-functional initiatives across the Sourcing & Procurement organization, including ESG/CSR initiatives, supplier diversity, and intern programs.

 

Experience & Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, with concentration in IT/Software Supply-Chain; MBA preferred
  • 10-12 years of industry experience

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years Strategic Sourcing experience focused on Software/Hardware systems and EDA Software
  • Clear understanding of Procurement financials, reporting, metrics for direct & indirect sourcing organizations
  • Collaborative, action-oriented, process-driven, diligent, accountable and innovative
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly Proficient with MS Office package, MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills.
  • Strong drive for creating value for internal customers.
  • Ability to anticipate roadblocks and issues with suppliers, contracts and deliverables and take proactive steps to resolve.
  • Ability to clarify complex situations and gather consensus with internal and external audiences.
  • Self-managed / motivated: the ability to independently set priorities, meet commitments and desire to seek valuable improvements.
  • Ability to keep multiple projects, assignments or task moving forward simultaneously.
  • SAP systems experience related to maintaining responsibility for system data integrity, to ensure disruption free supply of materials and services.
