About the role

Wood is seeking an “Expression of Interest” for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations at our LNG terminal in Brownsville, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance supervision, with a proven track record in managing maintenance teams and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Supervision: Lead and supervise the Facilities Maintenance team, reporting directly to the Owner Maintenance Services Superintendent.
  • Daily Briefings: Conduct daily pre-starts and toolbox meetings to ensure team readiness and safety.
  • Schedule Management: Ensure the execution and compliance of maintenance schedules.
  • Incident Investigation: Provide inputs for incident investigations to improve safety and operational procedures.
  • CMMS Updates: Maintain and update the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) with accurate and timely information.
  • Reporting: Prepare and manage maintenance reports, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Equipment Management: Oversee the certification, management, and accountability of all maintenance equipment.
  • Procedure Adherence: Ensure the team adheres to all established procedures and processes.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and manage the performance of the maintenance team, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Timekeeping: Handle time writing and timesheet management for the maintenance team.

Qualifications:

  • NCCER Industrial Maintenance Supervisor certification or equivalent.
  • Certified in a relevant trade.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Maintenance Supervisor role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in using CMMS and other maintenance management software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
