is a hybrid role, which means that you will have the flexibility to work both
onsite and at a distance. You will collaborate onsite at our La Farge, WI office for 4-8 days per month, and the
rest of the time you can choose to work remotely or onsite.
Employee Type – Salaried
Bonus – The position is eligible for a 20% annual incentive bonus based on cooperative and individual performance.

Summary of Role
The Senior Director of Non-Dairy Producer Pools (Egg, Feed, Livestock, & Produce) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of these pools, including strategic planning, operational leadership, product innovation, and business growth. This role is accountable for setting strategy, ensuring operational and commercial performance, and leading people across the Egg, Grower, Livestock and Produce portfolio. This role requires a dynamic leader with deep industry knowledge, strong business and financial acumen, and the ability to drive results in a competitive market.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and execute the overall strategy for the Eggs, Feed, Livestock and Produce Pools, ensuring alignment with Cooperative goals and ensuring stable and sustainable pay price for member owners.
• Lead and manage all aspects of Pool operations, including production, supply and demand forecasting, supply chain, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor and evaluate market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to guide strategic business decisions.
• Ensure operational and contractual adherence as well as compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws and CROPP Cooperative policies.
• Develop and manage the Annual Operating Plans and Pools S&GA budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and resources are allocated effectively.
• Lead Commercial strategy and performance for Pools, including collaboration on market positioning, pricing, and portfolio investment decisions.
• Report on key performance indicators for functional areas of oversight.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top talent, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
• Provide oversight, direction and leadership to the Pools staff and Management Team.
• Establish and communicate clear performance expectations by conducting evaluations, delivering timely feedback, offering training and coaching, and making personnel action recommendations for assigned staff.
• Represent the Pools at executive leadership meetings, providing updates and strategic insights to the Board of Directors and senior management.
• Engagement with Egg, Feed, Livestock and Produce Pool membership, Member Executive Committees and Board of Directors.
• Facilitate development and integration of systems and standard operating procedures to support operational functions within areas of oversight.
• Partner with Supply Chain to ensure operational execution supports Pools strategy and commercial commitments.
• Collaborate with the Forecasting & Analytics function to inform supply planning, commercial decisions, and strategic tradeoffs.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Member Experience to support member communication, engagement, and retention outcomes.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
•Evaluate, recommend and implement continuous improvement in areas of responsibility.
•Lead and participate in cross-functional projects and enterprise initiatives.
•Serve as a spokesperson for the Egg, Feed, Livestock and Produce Pools at industry events, trade shows and conferences.
•Attend farmer meetings, tradeshows and educational meetings as requested.
•Coordinate and collaborate with Communications team on messaging for CROPP members, potential members, the agricultural community and others.
•Coordinate and facilitate opportunities for career development and professional growth to enhance staff skills.
•Maintains confidential information with discretion.
•Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
