Your Mission
SADA is seeking an experienced Senior Events Marketing Manager to own SADA’s North American event marketing strategy and execution. To fulfill this role you have exceptional leadership and communication skills, a deep understanding of event marketing strategy and operations, and validated experience executing best-in-class events. You are passionate about producing eye-opening and unforgettable events. You will drive the strategy, execution, and return on investment of SADA-hosted events, conferences, and third party tradeshows and speaking submissions. You'll work very closely with internal executives, field marketing, solution marketing, sales, and customer success teams.

The Senior Event Marketing Manager is a strategic member of the demand generation team at SADA, reporting to the Head of Marketing for North America.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic planning of the annual events calendar and budget
- Plan, execute, and handle all aspects of conferences and event sponsorships, including coordination of logistics such as creative, agenda, speakers, partner sponsors, engagement, promotional materials, landing pages/form fills, any logistics for in-person events such as catering, equipment, company travel requirements, etc.
- Plan and execute SADA’s annual customer conference, SADA IMPACT
- Plan and execute all of SADA’s national or Google partnered virtual/hybrid events, experience with key event platforms, video tools, polling, sweepstakes, etc, to make the best virtual experience possible and represent SADA’s brand.
- Work cross-functionally with the field marketing/demand generation team to plan and execute the pre, during, and post event nurture and engagement programs
- Handle individual event budgets, with focus on delivering high quality leads and generating pipeline, while maximizing the return on investment of each event
- Manage external vendor relationships, including negotiating budgets and contracts
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure each event meets the overall goals of the company
- Create goals, KPIs and metrics-based reporting during the entire lifecycle of events, including post-mortem qualitative and quantitative metrics.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience leading and executing event participation/sponsorship contracts and then fulfilling the deliverables, including booth selection, lead retrieval, bag drops, advertisements, etc.
- For in-person events, direct pre-event operations, including: venue selection, budget creation and forecasting, excellent contract negotiation, booth preparations, event staffing, signage creation, ordering collateral and promotional items, purchasing and shipping supplies, housing and travel coordination, on-site services, etc.
- Experience managing the multi-channel event experience to boost event engagement and return on investment, including email, direct mail, web, and social marketing programs
- Experience managing large scale events (ex customer conferences), including planning, execution, and reporting
- Strong ability to operate in a fast paced environment and manage a high-volume event calendar
- Able to work in a complex, highly collaborative team environment
- Excellent written and spoken communication with the ability to write marketing collateral in multiple tones/voices as appropriate
