Job Description
This Director, VIK Program Management role will work on strategic and operational projects that have large impact across the team, with a particular focus on all things related to our Value-in-Kind (VIK) program. When Visa structures long-term partnership agreements with clients (i.e., ‘Deals’), an increasing proportion of the client incentives are structured as a promise of future value-added services, known as ‘Value-in-Kind’ (VIK). This is a key aspect of Visa’s deal strategy – it motivates clients to partner with Visa on programs that help them grow their business, and in turn, helps Visa grow and diversify revenues. This role will help manage the VIK program for North America and help accelerate its growth through end-to-end program management spanning the breadth from strategy and planning to process and operations. The Director, VIK Program Management will directly report to the Vice President of North America Operations.
Responsibilities of this role include:
- Support tracking and reporting processes around VIK utilization and VAS pipeline delivery to ensure Visa fulfills our client commitments
- Collaborate closely with Value Added Services partners on VIK deliverables and VIK enablement functions on working to resolve financial and reporting issues
- Develop a broad and deep understanding of Value-in-Kind, Value Added Services, Visa’s business and products, and the greater payments landscape
- Provide regular reporting and analysis updates for senior level consumption within Visa Inc.
- Coordinate operational process improvement efforts and ad hoc projects as needed
- Support the development of VIK communications, trainings, and other program resources
- Support analytics for North America Value-in-Kind planning of Annual Budget, Multi-Year Plan, and senior leadership business reviews
- Lead cross-functional teams with business partners (e.g., VCA, Marketing, Controllership, Contract Management, Center of Incentive Operations, Finance, Legal) to manage the NA VIK program, including overseeing implementation of process improvements and development of training/communications related to VIK and delivery
- Sharing VIK best practices and providing regional input into activities and initiatives with the Global VIK Champion team
- Understand how our internal systems, platforms and tools are being uses to be able to asses and provide feedback, and maintain up to date documentation

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
- Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor and attention to detail
- Creative thinker with a results orientation who approaches any challenge with thoughtfulness, drive, and appropriate urgency
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders and drive towards desired outcomes
- Aptitude to grasp new and complex concepts quickly
- Effective written and verbal communication skills (highly proficient with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to navigate through ambiguity and pivot quickly when priorities change
- Works well with people of varying backgrounds, levels-of-expertise, personalities, etc., and builds partnerships
