UPG Electrical is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. This role will assist the sales team in driving sales around existing business and will assist in lead generation around new business. The right candidate is a sales-minded individual who is a quick learner, self–motivated, thorough researcher and possesses an eagerness to learn about sales.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Main point of contact for defined customer accounts
  • Receive and process customer orders in the ERP
  • Oversee and ensure successful fulfillment of orders, working closely with operations
  • Monitor inventory levels and reserve inventory as needed for customers
  • Send order acknowledgment and order updates to customers
  • Monitor shipments to ensure on time delivery and communicate changes or delays to the customer, operations, and sales.
  • Manage customer claims up to and including claims resolution
  • Maintain product knowledge and understanding of customer needs and requirements.
  • Attend daily production review meetings
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Familiarity with Steel Industry, preferred
  • Strong capability to prioritize tasks and stay organized
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment
  • Previous experience using ERP/CRM software, MIS preferred
  • Proficient in MS office, including MS Excel
