We are seeking a Youth Residential Registered Nurse. Licensure as a Registered Nurse is required. The Youth Residentia Nurse will coordinate care for the residents with outside providers as needed, i.e., physical health concerns, eye care, and dental. The nurse facilitates ordering medications by Psychiatric Providers/Outside Providers, the pharmacy, and confirming that they are documented correctly. The nurse attends care team meetings, when necessary, to pass on pertinent medical information to the team.
The pay range for this position is $58,237.88 - $68,372.48 annually based on experience, education, and/or licensure.
Essential Functions:
- Provides direct care and nursing services to residents as prescribed by individual treatment plans.
- Maintains records, including but not limited to Medication Administration, medical records, medical charts, etc.
- Participates in multi-disciplinary care team meetings as needed.
- Monitors existing/chronic health conditions of residents.
- Obtains patient data and vital signs.
- Complies with all reporting requirements, biohazard program requirements, medical protocols, etc.
- Attendance at meetings per prior arrangement, and participation as an interdisciplinary team member.
- Meets billing productivity requirements established by Integrated Services for Behavioral Health.
- This is an on-call position for emergencies and to cover vacations/time off for nursing staff at various times throughout the year.
- Other duties as assigned by the Practice Manager.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associates degree or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Current registered nursing license in the state of Ohio.
- Two yearsβ of nursing experience within the medical or behavioral health field.
- Broad knowledge of community service systems.
- Willing to participate in and lead collaborative community building activities.
- Able to effectively communicate through verbal/written expression.
- Must be able to use an electronic health record (EHR).
- Must be able to operate within an Internet-based, automated office environment.
