About the RAY Program

The RAY Program empowers justice-involved youth through mentorship, case management, and reentry support. Led by individuals with lived experience, RAY helps youth transition successfully back into their communities with guidance and care.

Role Summary

The Program Supervisor oversees day-to-day operations of the RAY Program, leading a team of mentors and ensuring youth receive high-quality, consistent, and trauma-informed support. This role balances staff supervision, care coordination oversight, and system collaboration to drive positive outcomes for youth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily program operations, ensuring alignment with LA County DYD standards
• Facilitate weekly team meetings and case reviews to support care planning
• Supervise and coach mentors, providing clinical guidance (if licensed) or coordinating with clinical staff
• Ensure each youth has an individualized care plan and consistent case management
• Maintain caseload capacity (max 10 per mentor) and manage referral flow
• Review documentation for accuracy and compliance
• Build and sustain partnerships with community providers, schools, courts, and families
• Support youth access to employment, education, housing, and wellness resources

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related field
• 3+ years in youth services, reentry, or related programs
• Supervisory experience and knowledge of trauma-informed care
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with LA County youth justice systems

Preferred

• Master’s (MSW, MFT, or related)
• LCSW or clinical licensure
• Experience with mentoring or reentry navigation
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
