Overnight Licensed Emergency Veterinary Technician
The Animal Emergency Hospital of North Texas (AEHNT) is currently seeking skilled and experienced Licensed Emergency Veterinary Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be a critical part of our operations, contributing to a compassionate, high-acuity medical environment. Responsibilities include delivering exceptional patient care under high pressure situations, assisting in advanced medical procedures, and ensuring the efficient operation of our hospital. Compensation:
- $24-$28 hourly, based on experience
- $2+ differentials for full overnight shifts
- Full Time
- Sunday – Wednesday
- 10pm-7am
- IV catheter placement
- Blood draws
- IV fluid management
- Diagnostics and supportive therapies
- Surgical scrub and anesthesia monitoring
- Post-operative patient monitoring
- Accurate documentation and client communication
- Patient Care: Triage and manage emergency calls and walk-ins, conduct patient assessments, and provide comprehensive nursing care.
- Medical Procedures: Perform venipuncture, place catheters, and execute emergency procedures such as airway management and oxygen administration.
- Laboratory Work: Process and evaluate lab specimens, run CBCs, coagulation tests, and handle urinalysis.
- Client Communication: Engage with pet owners, provide discharge instructions, and support clients with empathetic communication.
- Credentialed Veterinary Technicians (CVT,RVT,LVT) with at least 2 years of experience working as a veterinary technician in an emergency or specialty animal hospital.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus!
