Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Business and Functional Requirements: Lead discovery sessions and workshops with stakeholders across the bank to gather, validate, and document business, functional, operational, and reporting requirements for strategic initiatives and enterprise projects.
- Current- and Future-State Process Analysis: Document existing processes, pain points, controls, and dependencies; define future-state workflows that improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and support the bank’s strategic objectives.
- Gap, Impact, and Risk Assessment: Evaluate differences between current processes and target solutions, identify business impacts, dependencies, risks, and issues, and partner with stakeholders to develop recommendations and action plans.
- Business Documentation: Translate business needs into clear, traceable requirements, use cases, user stories, process maps, business rules, and decision documentation for use by project teams, technology partners, and testers.
- Systems Implementation Support: Support business-facing activities for system implementations, enhancements, process improvements, and operational change initiatives, including requirements validation, solution reviews, readiness planning, and post-implementation support.
- Testing and Validation: Develop and coordinate business test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria; support system integration testing, user acceptance testing, defect triage, and validation of end-to-end workflows and controls.
- Stakeholder and Vendor Coordination: Serve as a liaison among business stakeholders, project leadership, technology teams, and third-party vendors to drive decisions, resolve issues, and maintain alignment on scope, priorities, timelines, and readiness.
- Operational Readiness and Change Support: Support organizational readiness through procedure updates, training coordination, business readiness checklists, communication of process changes, and implementation support for impacted teams.
- Governance and Reporting: Maintain organized, audit-ready project documentation including requirements, process maps, action items, risks, assumptions, issues, and status updates for leadership and governance forums.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve controls, enhance the customer and employee experience, and support ongoing operational and strategic improvements across the bank.

Working Conditions
- Normal office environment; extensive use of computer; lifting up to 30lbs. The incumbent will be expected to be able to work Monday through Friday; occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
Travel
- Occasional travel may be required based on project needs.
Qualifications Summary
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of seven years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services, including experience supporting large-scale system implementations, process improvement initiatives, or enterprise transformation efforts. Experience wo
