THE POSITION

FanDuel Group is looking to add a Senior Associate with a minimum 2 years of relevant experience to its Product Advisory team to support FanDuel’s efforts in entering new markets and launching new products. This exciting role sits at the intersection of key technology/product efforts and regulatory affairs and will directly contribute to the Company’s growth.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

This position will work with a fantastic team of FanDuel attorneys, regulatory compliance, engineering, retail operations and licensing professionals striving to expand FanDuel’s national footprint and to improve the Company’s product offerings. Reporting to a FanDuel Product Advisory Manager, this role will:

  • Analyze and assess current regulatory documentation processes to identify operational enhancements.
  • Draft, maintain and organize key regulatory documents, including product internal controls, terms and conditions, and house rules.
  • Support the implementation of process improvements for regulatory documentation submissions, workflows and best practices.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of implemented improvements, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Review regulations and work with internal teams to satisfy regulatory requirements.
  • Engage with state regulator staff and commercial partners, as needed.
  • Assist with new market launches, as needed.
  • Monitor potential impact of upcoming changes to FanDuel products on regulatory compliance and partner with internal stakeholders to appropriately address any necessary response.
  • Maintain record retention processes for effective and compliant record retention.
  • Complete other regulatory tasks assigned by management.

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum 2 years of successful experience in an analytical and detail-oriented
  • Sound and tested experience exercising judgment including communication, relationships and the accurate presentation of materials required of high-stakes engagements
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Experience engaging directly with federal or state regulators or comparable authorities
  • Experience working directly with Engineering & Product Management teams on complex issues
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of management
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a very fast paced and changing environment
  • Understanding of business priorities and ability to work to meet them
  • Attention to detail and an analytical mind
  • Ability to work independently and out of comfort z
