The role:The Partnership Manager is a key member of our Growth team. This role will be responsible for territory development and expansion, as well as working with Growth and State leadership to support the operationalizing of a comprehensive growth strategy designed to drive membership growth in the state. The Partnership Manager will build on BLP’s existing community partnership by utilizing their existing network of community partners to increase awareness of BLP and build new relationships in their territory.
Reporting to the Director of Growth, you will work closely with other Growth teammates as well as the Marketing, Central (Intake), and Operations teams throughout the organization to ensure optimal customer service is delivered to external stakeholders. Helping to drive Growth initiatives at the state level, you will also ensure internal teammates throughout the organization are kept apprised of relevant state resources for our members, and appropriate marketing materials are created and available for all Growth and Outreach activities in Massachusetts.
This is a hybrid position with much of your time spent in the field and communities we serve. Candidates applying must be willing and able to travel to BLP meetings, community events, or business functions as needed and determined by the business and Growth Team. Candidates applying must reside in Massachusetts.

What you will do:
- Work with the Director of Growth as well as other Growth and State leaders on strategic expansion campaigns and driving growth initiatives forward for your territory and the state
- Leverage your existing community connections (e.g., municipal, county, or state government agencies, healthcare providers, community organizations) to raise awareness of BLP and develop new community partnerships
- Proactively identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including community organizations, businesses, government agencies, and healthcare providers to expand our network and enhance referral pathways including, cold calling, events, networking, and referral generation
- Leverage the broader internal team members to strengthen partnerships, including the State’s General Manager, Clinical, and Medical teams
- Represent the organization at meetings, events, and partner sites arriving early to set up for meetings and events to raise awareness of our services and build new relationships in the community
- Work with the Partnership Associates, as well as Marketing and other team members to convert qualified leads to engaged accounts and referring community partners
- Work with Community Growth Manager to identify opportunities to deploy Member Engagement Field Associates to do on the ground direct member engagement
- Execute against the team and individual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including membership targets and new partnership development
- Expected to manage your territory to optimize time, effort, and results while hitting KPI expectations. Willingness to be out in the territory 3-4 days per week for territory development; travel time up to 2-3 hours a day and overnights are possible
- As a team member, you may cover for another territory, as well as travel for meetings and events
- As an opportunity to contribute to our member base, all employees help coordinate at least one weekly group therapy meeting per week
You are a good fit if you have:
- Minimum of 4-5 plus years experience building relationships with community partners in Massachusetts
- Existing community connections within the municipal, county, or state government agencies, healthcare providers, community organizations, etc.
- Experience leading growth or expansion initiatives and campaigns
- Demonstrated experience hitting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) tied to growth
- Proactive with a “go and get” mindset to territory development
- Must be willing to travel locally 2-4 days per week; travel time up to 2-3 hours per day, including weekends and overnights as necessary
- Valid driver's license, access to your own means of reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
