The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Portfolio Operations Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by leading a global team responsible for ISD’s portfolio operations, including:

• Consult with leadership to define guidelines and goals, and prioritize portfolio change projects
• Lead cross-functional projects and develop global solutions
• Manage global team working on material create and phase-in / phase-out (PIPO) process
• Influence and negotiate with division and corporate teams to improve processes and customer experience

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
• Seven (7) years of project leadership, process management, data management or business experience in a private, public, government or military environment
• Expert knowledge of SAP material data and/or 3M PIPO process

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Master's degree in business, data science or information technology from an accredited institution
• Nine (9) years of project leadership, process management, data management or business experience in a private, public, government or military environment
• Ability to drive change through influence
• Project Management certification and/or Black Belt certification

Work location:

• Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to 3M Center site at least 3 days per week)

Travel: May include up to 15% domestic or international

Relocation Assistance: Not authorized

Global Role: This position can be based in any of the listed locations. The primary location of this post could indicate only the Hiring Manager’s Location.
