Your Mission:
As a Sr. Financial Analyst at Engine, you’ll take a key role in helping us scale smarter and faster. This isn’t your typical FP&A position — your mission will be to unlock actionable insights across all of our demand generation teams to improve how we acquire, grow, and retain customers.
Here’s what you’ll take charge of:
- Analyze performance across all of our demand generation teams (Sales, Account Management, Partnerships, etc.) to identify opportunities to improve pipeline health, CAC, LTV, productivity, and retention.
- Build and own dynamic models and dashboards to track GTM performance and enable data-driven decision-making, such as the bookings model and partnerships model
- Design and lead reporting frameworks that surface meaningful insights for leadership and board-level discussions.
- Drive strategic initiatives like bookings forecasting, funnel conversion analysis, and customer segmentation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to define KPIs, build business cases, and measure the success of growth initiatives.
What You’ll Bring to Engine:
We’re looking for someone who’s ready to make an impact and grow alongside us:
- Experience: 1–3 years in investment banking, private equity, consulting, public accounting or FP&A.
- Skills: Strong analytical thinking and business acumen; fluency in GTM metrics like CAC, LTV, churn, funnel conversion, and sales velocity.
- Tech-Savvy: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required. Familiarity with systems like Adaptive, Salesforce, Looker, or Hubspot is a plus.\
- Mindset: Proactive, curious, detail-oriented, and collaborative. You’re excited to dig into the “why” behind the numbers and influence decisions that drive growth.
Compensation
Our compensation packages are based on several factors, including your experience and expertise. In addition to a competitive base salary, total compensation may include equity and/or variable pay (OTE). Your recruiter will share your complete compensation package as you move through the process.
The Engine Edge: Perks & Compensation
We believe in rewarding great work with great benefits:
- Compensation: Competitive base pay tied to role and experience, with opportunities for bonuses, commissions, and equity.
