Job Purpose

This position will support our Engineering division and serves as a consultant to our management team on human resources-related issues and is responsible for the tactical execution of HR policies and strategic initiatives. As an HR Business Partner with Modular Mining, you’ll be responsible for supporting all levels of employees and facilitating positive changes throughout the organization. If you’re someone that is great at building meaningful relationships, navigating complex challenges, and has a vision to help a company improve and maintain a positive and productive working environment, then this role is for you.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide consultation on issues related to legal and procedural compliance, labor and employee relations, workforce planning, talent and performance management, compensation and organizational development
• Maintain/Update HR Business Systems, policies, and procedures
• Assist in the recruiting and onboarding process, including creating job postings and helping managers with onboarding new employees
• Administer, and evaluate employee benefits programs such as retirement plans; medical, dental, vision plans; life insurance plans; temporary disability programs; and wellness programs.
• Build strong relationships and credibility with all levels of management
• Increase the ability of business leaders and staff to resolve employee relations issues and facilitate change management using knowledge transfer, coaching, and training
• Work closely with managers and individual contributors to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase retention

Required Skills

• 2-5 years progressive Human Resources experience, preferably as a generalist/advisor
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field plus a minimum of 2 years of progressive experience
• Strong business acumen with sound problem solving and influencing skills
