ABOUT THE ROLE

The Maintenance Lead is responsible to maintain the physical integrity of the Warehouse at all times. This involves ensuring a safe and secure environment for employees, customers and visitors. It is the maintenance leads duty to anticipate, identify, and correct any and all maintenance problems involving the warehouse and to implement procedures that will prevent such problems. The maintenance lead is the go-to person who oversees the proper and timely completion of all maintenance-related service requests. Maintenance team member and all S&S Activewear employees must adhere to the guidelines presented in the S&S Activewear employee handbook.

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

$21.89 per hour

Monday-Friday (8am-4pm), Full-Time, Non-Exempt

ONSITE: 2601 Quorum Drive - Fort Worth, TX 76137

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Safely operate all warehouse equipment
• Initiate Work Requests
• Seek out ways to improve Process and Equipment
• Perform a daily Security Check walkthrough inspection of Warehouse
• Assign work as required to Maintenance Team Members 
• Assist with troubleshooting when needed 
• Enforce Department cleaning schedule for shop and parts areas 
• Follow and enforces all safety procedures in place
• Follow the preventive battery maintenance/watering schedule
• Notice and report any abnormal conditions/failures in the batteries
• Take required corrective and preventive action to prevent battery damage
• Perform machinery and basic equipment examinations as required
• Perform truck battery swapping when required
• Comply with all safety requirements and proper use of (PPE) Personal Protective Equipment
• Complete all required safety training
• Track activities in maintenance logs in the WMS
• Follow directions of Supervisors and Managers
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse
• Perform other activities as assigned

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 6 months experience in a similar maintenance position
• Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance
• Ability to read and understand document written in English
• Have the physical strength and dexterity to lift a
